妻の昔の仕事関係の知人が出張で米国から神戸に来ているとのことで、家族ともどもランチに誘われ、小雨の中、神戸駅の近くにあるプロメナ神戸へ。最上階の18階にある木曽路で、妻の昔の上司のご夫婦とともに、想秋会席をいただいた。
「木曽路」という店自体はよく見かけるチェーン店というせいもあって、当初それほど期待しなかったのだが、量も味も期待以上。薄味で上品な味付けのものが多かったせいか、1歳の息子にも分けて食べさせるものがたくさんあった。
日本人が食べても、先付や前菜などになかなか面白い趣向が凝らしてあったり、味も悪くないといった状況だったが、米国人としても、エンジョイしていた様子。
掘りごたつの個室で、景色もよく、仲居さんもいろいろとやってくれて、雰囲気もよかった。
