This is Osaka's Okonomiyaki
Our restaurant is located on the second floor of Mosaic in Kobe Harborland, a symbol of Kobe's revival. It is a place where people of all ages can enjoy the night view of Kobe, fireworks in the summer |
I was wandering around Mosaic wondering what to eat when a display case of Okonomiyaki caught my eye. My Kansai mouth suddenly craved sauce so I made an instant decision (*゚∀゚*) Even though it was the end of summer, it was still hot so I wanted to drink a beer too, and with that in mind, I was already in the mood for Okonomiyaki and beer before even entering the restaurant (lol) I ordered the modanyaki set from the lunch menu and a bottle of beer. I'll have a glass before the modanyaki is ready ♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ Ah, irresistible. The lunch menu came with rice, miso soup and pickles as a service so I decided to have those later on. By the way, it seems that only Kansai people can eat Okonomiyaki and rice together, but is that really true (・Д・)? Still, I wonder why sauce and beer go so well together. Modanyaki smothered in a generous amount of sweet sauce and beer (о´∀`о) Delicious~
