Formerly New Otani, it is now Crown Palace. I had heard from an acquaintance that the service was a little off, so I visited with some trepidation. It's on the top floor, and when you get off the elevator, you'll be greeted by a guide. There is a bar space and an Italian Cuisine restaurant in front of you, and you walk through them to Teppan-yaki restaurant. I had a fillet as part of the course, and the chef who grilled it was just the right distance from me, so I had a very pleasant meal. I probably shouldn't compare it to Okura or other long-established restaurants, but it was new and clean, all the dishes were carefully prepared, and the food had French cuisine elements to it, which I liked. I think you'll be disappointed if you're expecting a Kobe-like night view or the sea because it's on the top floor near Harborland, but the night view from the north side is sometimes nice. There are more shops that I want to visit again.
