Savor the delicious spiciness and savory flavors of Korean cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere.
At Myeongdong Okawari, you can find dishes that are made with great care, from the selection of ingredients to the blend of seasonings. Their signature dish, Samgyeopsal, uses pork with the skin on. I |
Today's lunch is Kasuganomichi. The restaurant I was looking for, which should have reopened after the state of emergency was lifted, is closed. It's closed temporarily. Damn. I have to find a restaurant nearby. I found a Korean Cuisine on the east side facing the shopping street. I was attracted by the lady at the restaurant and came here for the first time. I heard that it just opened yesterday. When I asked for the menu, I was told that today they have grilled meat, soup, and all-you-can-eat side dishes for lunch. It seems that the menu hasn't been made yet ( ・◇・)? Oh well. I decided to go with the recommended lunch (1100 yen). There are various side dishes in the self-service corner, and I put them on a large plate and carry the rice (refills allowed). Well, what will it be like? Bean sprout namul, delicious! Water spinach namul, delicious! Deep-fried vermicelli and spicy meat, delicious! Stir-fried konjac and various ingredients, delicious! It's pretty good. The taste is different from what you'd get at a high-end restaurant, but the gentle, homely flavor somehow grabs your stomach and doesn't let go. As I munched away, the grilled meat and oxtail soup arrived. The grilled meat with sauce wasn't the finest meat, but it was still delicious. The oxtail soup was full of tofu and radish. This soup was pretty good. It was light in flavor, but the strong flavor of the oxtail came out well. I ordered more rice and side dishes. I thought it was kakuteki, but it was onion kimchi. This was my first time trying this. I loved the spiciness of the onion and the umami of the kimchi! The deliciously spicy boiled potatoes were good. I ate it all up. I tried every type of food on the corner, and then had a heaping helping of namul and kimchi. I didn't need any more rice. I ate all the vegetables until I was full. I discovered a very interesting restaurant. I found a menu sign in a corner of the restaurant. Wow, they could do a lot of things there. I'd like to visit again once the restaurant has settled down. As I left the restaurant, they were putting up a sign with the restaurant's name at the entrance. If we're going to open, we'll have to put it on first (^o^;) Thank you for the meal.
