When I went to [a:28061522, Kathmandu Spice Mart & Momo House] during the day on Wednesday, I was told that Restaurants was closed today, so I moved to this side of the building next door. I had the Nepali Thali Set, 1,100 yen including tax, and my husband had the daily curry set, 780 yen. The daily special on this day is eggplant and keema. I asked for normal spiciness. Nepali Thaliset rice is Japanese rice. Dal is a super chubby type. And sweet. Mutton curry is also extremely sweet. It has a hint of spice, but it has a strong sweetness. The meat is hard to chew. The papad will be soft and won't break. Achar is served in a bowl for two people. Achar is quite spicy. The contrast with the sweet curry is strong. The amount of dal and curry was so generous that I ended up with some left over. There is no suggestion for a second helping of rice. Since you can get one refill of naan, my husband ordered another and ate the curry. By the way, the daily curry was also sweet. Both the hot chai and lassi drinks were delicious. There was a discount coupon at the entrance so I showed it. I was told that I needed to show the number of people, so they gave me a 50 yen discount for each person. Recommended for those who like sweet curry.
