Lunch nearby on weekends. The restaurant I visited was ``Sumiyaki Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Juen.'' As the name suggests, this is a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant, but in addition to Yakiniku (Grilled meat), the Degutan soup is also popular. The location of the store is in a residential area, so it's hard to explain, but if I had to give a rough explanation, I'd say it's relatively close to the northwest side of Nagata Minami Elementary School. Entry time is 1:26 p.m. At this point, there was only one single customer. It was a little after noon, so it was probably like this. By the way, the number of seats in this restaurant is 4 four-person tables with a roaster on the floor, one four-person table with a roaster on the raised floor, and three six-person tables with a roaster. I'm seated at one of the four-person tables with a roaster. After taking our seats, we looked at the lunch menu and decided which lunch to have. In addition to the main lunch soup, they also have Ramen, udon, and rice bowls based on this soup. There were also set meals such as kimchi soup, bibimbap, offal soup, grilled offal, Yakiniku (Grilled meat), and Korean mackerel stew. So, this time I ordered the `` Yakiniku (Grilled meat) Set Meal'' for ¥900, ``Large Meat'' for ¥300, and ``Mini Tegutan Soup Included'' for ¥50. The large serving of rice for the set meal was free, but this time I unusually asked for the regular serving. Yakiniku (Grilled meat) set meal was ready in 6 minutes after ordering. Now, let's get a bird's-eye view of this set meal and actually eat it. To put it simply, this set meal consists of a plate of Yakiniku (Grilled meat), three types of namul, two types of pickles, a bowl of rice, and an optional bowl of mini daegtang soup. Well, let's start with the main Yakiniku (Grilled meat). Yakiniku (Grilled meat) with 10 pieces of meat. The meat is already grilled. The meat was drizzled with a rich red sauce, and some white sesame seeds were also sprinkled on top. It's lean beef. What part is this? Is it like skirt steak? The meat has a good flavor and is delicious, but I wonder if it has a slight odor. Also, it was a little sinewy, but the meat itself was very soft. After all, this looks like skirt steak. The sauce had a slight sweetness, a very subtle spiciness, and a miso-like richness. I think gochujang is the most effective among these sauces. In addition to the gochujang, I think the sauce was probably miso, sake, sugar, sesame oil, and garlic. It was a sauce that went well with this skirt steak-like meat. Next, let's have namul. There were three types of namul: bean sprouts, radish, and spinach. Only the radish had a slightly sour taste in the namul, but the bean sprouts and spinach only had a salty taste and didn't taste like they were coated with sesame oil. Next up are two types of pickles. One is Chinese cabbage kimchi. It's called Baechu Kimchi. It's not lightly pickled, but it doesn't feel like furuzuke either, so I guess it's the most standard senkimchi. The sourness came first, followed by the spiciness, leaving a tingling spiciness in your mouth for a while. The other is jeokgal, a Korean salted fish. The topping is squid-like, so it's called ojin ojo. It was more fermented than Japanese salted fish, so it had a strong taste, but I wonder if it was because of the high glutamic acid content that it had such a high flavor. Of course it has a spiciness, but the saltiness is more typical of jeokgal. Let's try the mini Tegutan soup, which is a popular menu item at this restaurant. In Korea, this soup is called "talokbap". This daegudang soup is not a daegtang soup made with milt or fish bones, but more like a daegtang soup made with beef or beef bone soup. The soup is similar to Yukgaejang soup. The size of the soup bowl is about the same size as a slightly larger rice bowl. The color is not as deep orange as I expected, but more like a mixture of light ocher and orange. The ingredients in the soup are beef, eggs, Chinese cabbage, spinach, bean sprouts, and onions? something like that. The soup stock seems to be made from beef bones and beef. The beef-like flavor is good. I feel a richness and flavor other than the umami of beef, but I wonder what it is? Is it a bit like miso? Is this gochujang? As you can see from the color, it's not that spicy. There's just a slight spiciness to it. The spiciness of the soup was mild. Well, I think the result is a soup that everyone will enjoy and won't have picky eaters. And finally, the rice is so filling that it feels like a light bowl in a small bowl. We topped it with Yakiniku (Grilled meat), namul, and kimchi, and added a little bit of taegutang soup to make it bibimbap style. It was delicious. That's how I finished Yakiniku (Grilled meat) set meal. It was a delicious Yakiniku (Grilled meat) set meal. However, I think the Taegtang soup was even more delicious. I think I'll try the Taegtang soup as a main dish next time I visit here.
