先月からそばばかり食べているのは、齢44にして血圧が気になりだしたからだ。
で、血管に良いそばといえば、「韃靼そば」であるという。ルチンが普通のそばに比べて120倍だという。なんだかすごそうではないか。めちゃくちゃ血管に良さそうではないか。
自宅の最寄沿線でどこか食べられるとこ無いか、と探したところこちらがヒットしたので、休みの日を利用して伺ってみた。
平日13時前で店先に3人ほど待ちが発生している。人気店だ。店内のウェイトリストに名前を記入。15分ほど待って店内に案内される。
メニュー。韃靼そばを含んだセットを発見。「あいだセット」を冷で注文した。しばらく待って膳が運ばれる。
普通のそばに比べ、明らかに黄色味を含んでいる。早速何もつけずにすすってみる。
鮮烈。
鮮烈な風味を感じる。
僕のようなそば素人でもはっきりと、そばの風味と甘みを感じる。明快に旨い麺である。
韃靼そばというものは、苦いものだ、と聞いていたが、はっきりと感じるような苦みはない。ただ、わずかに、舌の奥でなんか苦いかなぁ～？ と感じるほどには苦い、ような気がする。でもその苦味すらもそばの風味や甘みの引き立て役になっているのでは、と感じるほど、そばの味が濃い。
加えて、食感のすばらしさ。ゴチっと噛み応えがあり、噛むほどに味わいがにじみ出てくる。
なんとも総合力の高い麺だ。
つゆも出汁の味豊かで良い。付け合わせのとろろ丼も塩味過多とならず品の良い味わいである。
感服した。実に満足した。これは是非とも普通のそばも食べねばならぬ。
間違いなくまた訪れることになるだろう。
