I was looking for a lunch restaurant at Ashiya Station after a long time, and I found this place. I went there because Yokkaichi's soul food pork steak was on the lunch menu. The store has a very nice atmosphere, including the background music and interior. It was Saturday afternoon, so the customers were quite old. I've been curious about pork steak ever since I saw it on YouTube reporting on the area around Yokkaichi Station. While I was waiting, all the tables were occupied, and the volume of food that arrived was more than I expected! When I tried it, I found it surprisingly not greasy. Does the seasoning include soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce? The garlic works just right and it's very delicious. The regular serving of rice wasn't enough, so I ordered another "normal serving". When I looked around, other customers' menus looked delicious. The only strong point that I don't like is that the rice is cooked soft. (That was a brazen remark even though I had a refill.) However, it comes with a drink and you can relax after the meal for only 1,000 yen including tax, so overall I definitely recommend it.
