よく行列になってるチェーン天ぷら店。これまであまり興味がわかず。しかし、相方が「美味しいよ」と。
ではランチに。少し並んで二人席へ。
奮発して大穴子天定食玉子天付き1550円。奮発といっても1550円ですが。
最初にごはん、味噌汁、天つゆ。ご飯はおかわり無料。
「ゆず大根」と「イカの塩辛」がテーブルにあるので、小皿に。この塩辛が秀逸。天ぷら前にご飯が進みそうに。じっと我慢。
天ぷらは次の順。
・大穴子
・イカ
・玉子天
・ナス
・キス
・舞茸のかき揚げ
・焼き芋天(写真とりわすれ>
まず、ドーンと大穴子。これたけで満足できるくらいの大振り。
どの種も大きく迫力。揚げ方は今時のカリッと系。
特筆すべきは玉子天。ご飯に載せて、天丼ツユをかけ、黒薬味なるものをかけ、崩して食べるのだと。これが絶品。こういうのを考え出すのもチェーン店の凄いところ。ある意味邪道ではあるが、美味しいのは確か。
天丼ツユがあるし、ご飯もおかわり自由だからセルフで天丼を作れるのも面白い。
本当にボリュームはたっぷり。お腹一杯。
いや、やられました。あっぱれです。
もちろん、天ぷらは今時のものということなのか、かなり大ぶりサク感重視。高級店の上品なものとは比べるまでもありませんが、値段を考えれば物凄い企業努力。
大満足！
