[4 minutes from JR Ashiya Station] Enjoy authentic Indian Cuisine in a cozy space! All-you-can-drink course available◎
Newly opened in June 2020, [Namaste Ganesha Mahal Ashiya] serves Indian Cuisine and Nepalese Cuisine, including authentic curry with five levels of spiciness to choose from, fluffy and chewy naan brea |
When I went to Ashiya Fuurin, I was curious about the butter chicken curry made by my neighbor, so my family of three decided to check it out. The interior of the restaurant does not have the decorations of Indian Cuisine, but has a bright and clean atmosphere. My wife ordered set B, which included two types of curry, naan, salad, soup, and a drink, and my son and I ordered set C, which included chicken tikka and papad. There are 8 types of curry to choose from, and I chose butter chicken and mutton. (By the way, my son had butter chicken and keema, and my wife had butter chicken and spinach.) I asked for medium spiciness. Soup and mini salad arrived soon. The salad here also had the usual dressing at Indian Cuisine. I don't think I've ever seen anything other than this dressing at Indian Cuisine restaurant. It's just strange, but I don't dislike it at all. After a while (6-7 minutes), two types of curry and naan arrived, followed by chicken tikka three minutes later. The butter chicken curry is mellow, probably because it's full of butter. The mutton curry is a little more soupy and thick. Both were delicious with just the right amount of salt, but I think I was more into the mutton. Apparently, you can eat as much naan as you want, but one piece is more than enough ^^; The chicken tikka is good for filling your stomach, but I don't think it's worth having. Since the difference was only 100 yen, I chose C lunch. After the meal, we had iced chai. I didn't really feel the flavor of the chai either, but I could drink it easily so I guess it's okay. I was particularly disappointed in the soup, salad, chicken tikka, and chai, but I thought the main butter chicken curry and mutton curry were quite delicious. I wonder if the combination of melty and mellow and savage style was good?
