[3 minutes walk from JR Ashiya Station!] A head chef who showed his skills at a famous hotel in Hong Kong has opened an independent restaurant!
The owner, who has served as head chef at well-established and popular restaurants in famous hotels and shops in Hong Kong, has opened a new Hong Kong restaurant in Ashiya! Using authentic ingredients |
The rain stopped and it suddenly got cold, so I was thinking about eating something to warm me up when I found this place. I wondered if there was a restaurant like this, and it just opened in September. I went in because I was there. My husband and I ordered: Hong Kong-style steamed chicken, mapo tofu, Xiaolongbao, ki-raku fried rice, and Seafood soup noodles! The steamed chicken was professionally made to be moist, and the onion sauce that came with it was very delicious. The mapo tofu was peppery and gradually became spicy after a while. The soup noodles were piled high with shrimp, squid, and scallops, and the vegetables were bok choy, Chinese cabbage, and lots of paprika! Looking at the menu, I thought it was high-end Chinese food based on the prices, but the portions were large and I was very full. And the taste was very delicious... If I had room in my stomach, I would have liked to eat Hong Kong-style almond tofu, but I couldn't fit in there, so I gave up today. The female waitress in the dining area was also very kind, resizing our table from two to four and giving us a pot of hot tea after the meal. The menu prices are all inclusive of tax, and the bill is clear with no service charge. For 7,500 yen including tax for two, we had a very satisfying dinner. Thank you for the meal. On a side note, when I took my credit card out at the register, I was told that it was being processed, so I frantically borrowed my husband's wallet and scraped together some cash. Even if Tabelog says they accept credit cards, you shouldn't let your guard down. Lol
