宝塚ワシントンホテル内にあります。ホテル内にはいくつかレストランがありますが、大人の雰囲気にこだわるならば、この店です。
川に面した横長の部屋。家具調度類は高級感があります。テーブルなど移動できるので、数十人のパーティーとして利用するのにぴったりな感じですね。ちょっと天井が低いようにも感じますが、しかしとても雰囲気が、ありくつろげます。
今回は二人で食事、そしてアルコールを求めてきました。雰囲気があるのでデートにもよいですね。井上陽水の曲が頭の中を駆け巡る。やっぱりリバーサイドはいいですね！
料理はまあ無難という感じでしょうか。ステーキセットもありますが、お酒を飲みながらなので、アラカルト料理をもらいます。それほど多くの種類はないですが、洋酒にちょうどよい定番のアテが。蛸のカルパッチョ800円、和風ローストビーフ1400円、エスカルゴのブルゴーニュ風1400円。どれもホテルの無難な正統派の味付けです。それにホテル内のレストランとしては案外と安いです。
飲み物はワインなどをいただきました。もちろん、ステーキなどを食べて、パンやスープなどとセットにすると、もっと値段がしますが。まあ、涼を求めて、軽くビールだけでも。
ちなみに、ワシントンホテルは通常のレストランとともに、夏の暑い時期は、屋上でビアガーデンをしています。ワイワイといくならば、そちらがよいでしょう。でも静かさを求める方にはビアガーデンだと喧しいので、むしろこちらの店に。
