[1 minute walk from Tsukaguchi Station!] ~Japanese and Western gourmet dining~ Akaoniya Tsukaguchi branch NEW OPEN♪♪
Akaoniya is a gourmet dining restaurant that takes pride in its fresh fish delivered directly from the market, seasonal dishes, and Creative Cuisine. We have a wide selection of delicious ingredients |
We went there on a disappointing occasion when we went to watch the Hanshin Racecourse, which is a yearly tradition at this time of year. An acquaintance from Osaka found this place for us, and as they open from 3pm, we were able to get in without having to wait until 5pm. Once inside, we were shown to the counter and ordered a Torys Highball, which was 350 yen during happy hour. I think I've written this before, but Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Osaka somehow seem cheaper than Tokyo. The sashimi platter was interesting, as it included octopus, which is not often served in Tokyo. The turtle paw is unusual...at first glance I thought it was a different cut of meat, but after thinking about it, it was gizzard. We spent an hour and a half there, and 6,380 yen for two people was quite cheap. I was so engrossed in the conversation that I didn't order much food (^_^;) ■Food and drinks on the day: Appetizer 250 x 2, Draft beer 350 x 2, Sashimi platter 1180, Tempura 550, Zuripon 550, Highball 350 x 2, Boiled fish and burdock 480, Yamazaki (highball) 650, Hakushu (highball) 650, 6380
