On this day, we had a year-end party for two days in a row with a business partner who can relax his shoulders and Akashi's "umi". This is a Japanese-Western fusion of Restaurants made with fresh Akashi seafood and vegetables. The first thing that was served was an assortment of sashimi. It's so fresh and has no smell at all. On the contrary, you can feel the original sweetness of the fish. Next up is a freshly picked vegetable salad from Kobe Nishi Ward, a venegrette with lemon and grapefruit, a carpaccio with cold tuna flavored with yuzu pepper, pizza with Akashi octopus and Awaji onions, and a Ajillo of shrimp and mushrooms. Using local ingredients from the Setouchi Inland Sea, this time in the Mediterranean! All of them were finished with a rich flavor without losing the flavor of the ingredients. And Miyazaki chicken tataki and chicken nanban. This time, we will go to the specialty of the tropical country of Hyuga. Anyway, the meat is tender. Chopsticks and alcohol don't stop. It's already great enough to say it's the main course, but the oven-grilled Mita pork with Tasmanian mustard and a hot pot of collagen soup! The pot with plenty of vegetables is very healthy and well-balanced. It comes with chicken porridge and caramel ice cream for dessert for 3,850 yen. Both delicious and cheap are double-round. All-you-can-drink is +2,200 yen. Even though it's December, it's no wonder it's full on any weekday. I visited “umi” with my clients at the party to say farewell to the past year in Akashi, Hyogo Pref. This restaurant offers a creative cuisine in the style of a Japanese and Western fusion using local ingredients. First of all, the assorted sashimi was served, so fresh, and had no unpleasant fishy smell. Rather it made me feel its slight sweetness. Next, the Salad of fresh vegetables from Nishi-ku, Kobe with venaigrette of lemon & grapefruit, the Carpaccio of Yellowtail with yuzu pepper flavor, the Pizza of Akashi octopus & Awaji Is. , onion, and the Ajillo with shrimp & mushrooms were served, and those were cooked mediterranean cuisine using local ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea area. All of them were rich in flavor without sacrificing the deliciousness of the ingredients. And the Roasted Chicken from Miyazaki and the Chicken Namban were served, and both are Miyazaki specialty dishes. The chicken was so tender and was too yummy to stop eating and drinking. Then the main dishes; the oven grilled Sanda Pork with Tasmanian mustard and the Hot pot with plenty of collagen were served. The hot pot has a lot of vegetables, so it’s so healthy that it has a good balance. Finally, the Chicken Risotto and the Caramel Icecream for dessert were served and I finished. This course is @¥3,850, so that’s a good value! FYI, if u pay an additional fee @¥2,200, u can all drinks.
