以前から気になっていた｢ディープマハル｣におじゃましてきました。お店のドアを開くと、礼拝堂の鐘の音のようなドアチャイムで迎えてくれます。
単品・セットともに豊富なメニューの中から迷いつつ｢ディナーセット｣をオーダー。
バターチキンカレー・日替わりカレー(当日はなすカレーでした)・ナン・ライス・サラダ・シシカバブ・チキンティッカ(タンドリーチキンのようなもの)・1ドリンクという品揃えです。
カレーは具だくさんでコクがあり、とくにチキンカレーはバターが効いて食べ応えあり。
ナン(大きい！)の他に小さなライスも付いており、2種類のカレーと合わせていろんな食べ方が楽しめます。
肉類も柔らかでボリュームあり。
私はカレーが少し余ったので、単品の｢バスマティライス(インドの長粒米)｣を追加オーダーしてカレーライスに仕立てました。
バスマティライスは長粒米独特のパラパラ感があり、本場のカレーソースにベストマッチ。ナン＆白米＆長粒米のバリエーションでカレーを美味しくいただきました。
異国情緒漂う店内は、清潔感にも溢れています。退店時にはスタッフさんが深々とお辞儀して見送ってくださり、とても気持ちよく利用させていただきました。
駅前ビル内のお店ですが店内にトイレもあり、利便性もとても高いと思います。
