2022年初、西国街道沿いに開店した明石焼き店 : Tako Ashi Kafe

The location is about 300m south of JR/Sanyo/Akashi Station. When the Nishikoku Highway splits from Prefectural Road 718 and becomes an alley, Kimuraya is the second house in the alley one street north of the street facing the intersection (Prefectural Road 718, Akashi City Road Akashi Chuo No. 12). On this day, I visited after noon. Since it was lunchtime, there were 4 customers waiting outside and 4 customers later. After a little more than 10 minutes, I was guided to a table for two at the back of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant, there is a sofa seat for 4 people on the right side of the entrance, and a kitchen in the back right. On the left is 4 tables for 4 people and 1 table for 2 people. There are a total of 22 seats. There are two staff members in the kitchen, one male staff member in charge of cooking and one female staff member in charge of the floor. I immediately ordered the above menu. On the tabletop, there are chili peppers, shichimi chili peppers, and sauces. While waiting for the Akashiyaki to be ready, I looked at the inside of the restaurant and it seemed that the restaurant was not full, but was guided into the restaurant in order according to the cooking pace. About 10 customers in the restaurant seemed to match the cooking pace of one owner. Eventually, 8 minutes after ordering, a red raised plate of Akashiyaki, a bowl of soup stock with onions, and a soup stock tokuri were served on a plate. Akashiyaki has a nice golden brown brown. The soup stock, which seems to be kelp and bonito soup, is hot and very delicious. The Akashiyaki I received immediately was hot because it was freshly baked. The texture is fluffy. The octopus was quite large and very satisfying. By the way, because it is a CAFE, there is a wide variety of menus, not limited to Akashiyaki. Of the lunch menu, Akashiyaki for lunch, you can choose chirimen sansho rice or Onigiri & Karaage or mini bokake udon, with a drink or dessert. There are also daily lunches such as Karaage and Hamburg that are different from Akashiyaki. The regular menu is also extensive. There is a la carte Akashiyaki plate with unusual varieties such as scallops and shrimp, and a Japanese-style bean paste with turnips and Seafood Akashiyaki.
