I used take-out from the Izushi soba restaurant on the first floor of Aeon Kakogawa. On this day, I stopped by a smartphone repair shop on the same floor, and since I didn't have much time, I thought I'd buy Bento (boxed lunch), but since it seemed like you could take it home, I ordered some katsudon. When I opened the lid, the pleasant aroma of the soup stock whetted my appetite. The cutlet pieces are smaller, but overall they are relatively large and have quite a bit of volume. Rather than the typical sweet and salty soup stock, this katsudon is probably made with the soup stock used for soba noodles, and has a gentle flavor with a good dashi stock. Does it include soba-yu? It was so flavorful and delicious. Next time, I think I'll try the soba noodles inside. If the katsudon is of this quality, you can expect soba noodles as well.
