しっかりと満足のいく食べ物を出してくれて、
さらにお酒もきちんとしたプロの味わいを堪能させてくれる店。
私の勉強不足だと思うが、
バーとしての質の高さと、
レベルの高い本物の料理を両立させている店は、
私のフィールドである神戸でもあまりお目にかかったことがない。
先日レビューした「ｎａｐ」さんにしても、
とびきり美味しい料理を出してくれる友達の家、
という雰囲気で、
それはそれでとてもコンフォタブルな感覚に満たされるのだけれど、
「うわぁ～。これはやっぱりプロの料理やなぁ～！」
と一線を越えた料理を提供してくれるのがこの店、ＪＡＣＫである。
ショットバーとしての体裁を保ちながら、
イタリアンを基調としたほんまもんの料理を直球勝負で食べさせてくれる。
今日は、ハンガリー産のマンガリッツァ豚のグリルをいただいた。
マンガリッツァ豚は、
ハンガリーで国宝に指定されていて、
まだ日本にはほとんど入ってきていない。
その食感、味わい、脂の美味さなどなどなど、
最近流行のイベリコ豚やあぐー豚とは全く違うところに君臨する、
極上の豚肉だと感じた。
このマンガリッツァ豚のグリルをいただくだけで、
十分にこの店を訪れる価値があると思えるほど、
素晴らしい美味しさだった。
こういう食材を見つけてきて、
一番美味い食べ方で客に食わせてやろうという意気込みが、
ビシバシとこちらに伝わってきてとても気持ちが良い。
バーテンダーとしての道を追求している可愛らしい女性店主と、
神戸のイタリアンの店で腕を磨いた若手のシェフが、
繁華街から少し離れたところでひっそりと営んでいる店だが、
二人から繰り出されるお酒と料理は、
「プロの仕事」を感じさせる鋭い切れ味を持っている。
一階はカウンター席、
二階はテーブル席になっているので、
様々な使い方に対応できるようになっている。
姫路なので再々お邪魔するわけにはいかないが、
守備範囲のエリアにあれば、
入り浸ってしまいそうな魅力的なお店が姫路に出現してしまった。
