GWの前半はあまり予定もなかったので、ちょっくら西播方面へドライブ。
その際に姫路のお隣の揖保郡太子町にある『麦右衛門』さんに立ち寄りました。
最寄駅はJR網干駅なのですが、かなり離れてるので車やないとちょっと訪れにくい場所にあるにもかかわらず、7年連続で食べログ百名店にも選ばれてる有名店なのです。
開店とほぼ同時に到着したら、既に満席で2クール目で入店。
というわけで店名を冠した『麦右衛門中華そば』とおまかせごはんが付いたセット(1,400円)をオーダー。
麦右衛門中華そばとは、まぁトッピング全部乗せですな。
んでその日のおまかせごはんは肉そぼろとオクラのご飯。
先ずは麺ですが自家製麺らしく、ツルツルもちもちで、小麦の風味にほんのり甘みも感じ、これ自体めちゃくちゃ美味い。
スープは魚介系ではあるけど、あまり魚介の風味が勝ち過ぎておらず、醤油のほんのり甘みが加わって、バランスが絶妙。
加えて鶏チャーシューと豚チャーシューも超絶美味くて、全く非の打ち所がない至高の一杯。
他方おまかせごはんの方も、全く手抜き感なく、肉そぼろも甘すぎず塩辛すぎず絶妙な風味にオクラ等の夏野菜が良いアクセントになってます。
わざわざ遠くから来る価値ありやと思います。
When I went to the West-Harima region, I stopped by at a ramen shop “Mugiwemon” in Taishi Town, Ibo District next to Himeji City, Hyogo Pref.
It’s quite far from the nearest station, so it’s difficult to get there without a car.
Despite that, it’s been selected as one of the top 100 ramen shops in western Japan for 7 consecutive years by a major gourmet website.
When I arrived there at opening 11:00 am, many people were waiting outside and got a seat after 30 minutes.
Anyway, I ordered the “Mugiwemon Ramen” which was put on all toppings, and the chef’s choice rice (the set is @¥1,400).
The rice of that day was one with flavored minced beef and okra.
The noodle is homemade, and has an amazing smooth and chewy texture and a great wheat flavor.
Although the soup is seafood based, its flavor isn’t too strong and has a perfectly balance with the slight sweetness of soy sauce.
In addition, the chicken char-siu and pork belly one also taste good, so this ramen is flawless.
On the other hand, the rice is also perfect with the excellent flavor of the minced meat and giving an accent of the summer vegetables such as okra etc.
It’s well worth for taking the trouble to visit here from far away.
