神鍋スキー場から近く。雪の風景が良く似合う古民家一軒。そこが「和楽」さん。お宿でもあり、お蕎麦屋さんでもある。神鍋の一部の地方には古くから豆腐を練り込んだ蕎麦があり「和楽」さんのお蕎麦もそのスタイル。神鍋まで雪遊びに行ったついでに寄らせていただきました。
雪深いこの日、雪に埋もれた表門から、既に奥深い山間に佇む古民家の雰囲気が溢れていて、私、すっかり雰囲気に呑まれる(笑)。障子の扉を開けると、何故かサザエさん一家(絵)が迎えてくれます。待合室には囲炉裏。各部屋は畳敷きだけどテーブルの席。
連れは「天ぷら蕎麦」を。私は悩みに悩んで「蟹玉子とじ蕎麦」にしました。蟹の卵がはいっているのかと思ったら、蟹身の入った玉子とじの蕎麦だった(笑)。それと麺と汁が別々に出された付け麵スタイルだったのも予想と違いました。汁は上品な出汁が良く出ていて、しかも若干のトロミがあリ、美味しかったです。蕎麦に豆腐が練り込んであるのは良く判らなかったけど、言われなければ気付かなかった。いや、言われても気付かなかった(笑)。
最初に梅ジュースを出してくれて、それから小鉢、次が梅ヨーグルトで、最後にお蕎麦の順番。私は「梅ヨーグルト」をお蕎麦の後に食べました。蜜煮の梅が美味しかったです。
連れが頼んだ「天ぷら蕎麦」の天ぷらには大きな海老が二匹も入っていました。それで1500円ぐらいだったかな。お蕎麦の量も多かったし、この雰囲気と合わせれば「この値段は安いね」と話した記憶があります。私の家からは、ちょくちょく行ける距離ではないけれど、神鍋に行った際には寄りたいお店です。
