名物巨大海老フライ
城崎駅駅前 |
まだ、夏の暑さが残るなか、城崎温泉の駅前にある老舗の喫茶店のようなお店で、店内は一人で訪れても過ごしやすい雰囲気。
後々調べてみると、何度も雑誌などのメディアで取りあげられているお店だったよう。
本当は、城崎の美味しい海鮮を食べようと入ったお店だったが、
メニューにあったカキ氷に目を奪われ、おもわず頼んでしまった。
カキ氷はいくつか種類があったが、一番甘そうだった、「ミルク金時」（650円）を注文。
注文した後に、今年まだカキ氷食べてなかったなと気づき、勝手に注文したカキ氷への期待値が上がった。
運ばれてきたカキ氷は、勝手にあげていた期待値の上をいく代物で、見惚れてしまった。
“ふわふわの氷” にとろ～りやわらかな練乳、大粒の小豆、季節の果物が絶妙なバランスで、
絡みあいそれぞれの旨味を思う存分味わうことのできる逸品。
特に小豆と練乳がお互いの甘さを殺さずしっかりした甘さになっていたのが印象に残っている。
城崎に行った際は、また訪れたい。
