この出石の皿そばの存在を全く知らなかったのですが、但馬方面に行った際に土産物屋やサービスエリアには必ずこの出石そばがあったので、調べてみると豊岡市の出石地区は、そばがめちゃくちゃ有名とのことで行ってみました。
実際に行ってみると、街中の飲食店がそば屋であふれており、どこに行っていいのか迷ってしまいます。
そんな中で今回は食べログで気になったこの店に入店。
メニューはシンプルで皿の数を注文するのみ。
1枚は一口で食べれるくらいの量になっており、今回は20枚いただきました。
制限時間内に30枚以上食べると名前が店内に掲示される仕組みもあるようです。（時間制限は関係ないですが、20枚食べたので、お店からそば手形をいただきました。）
薬味は、とろろと生卵、ネギ、わさび。最初は塩を振って食べることも勧められましたが、これも美味しかった。
なかなか気軽には行けませんが、機会があればぜひまた行きたいと思います。
