諸事情から水戸に滞在していたが、どうしても食べたくなった大福、それが小倉屋さんの大福だ。
いつ食べても期待を裏切らない丁寧な餡作りからなる、私が知っている限り最高水準の味わいだ。
茨城で誇れる和菓子の代表作である。
平日午前だというのに、既に数台の車がおり、その人気は凄い。
大福は餅とふっくらしていながらしっかり味を主張する豆の配合量も言わずもがな。
餡は芸術の名に相応しい丁寧な練り上げと後から追いかけてくる塩味か、和菓子の頂に押し上げる。
名店だけでは収まらない。
