土曜日15時訪問。
水戸駅からは、歩いて6～7分ということで、電車の乗り換えの合間に途中下車。
趣のある建物だと思ったら、やはり創業は江戸時代とのこと。まさに水戸が、幕末の重要な役割を果たしていた頃の創業だ。
例のごとく何の予備知識もなく訪問したので店員さんにお勧めを聞いて、下記を購入。
水戸の梅 120円を4つ。
本当は妻の分と2つのつもりだったが、安いし小さめなので一人2つに。
紫蘇の葉？で餡が包まれた感じ？回りの葉っぱ葉塩気があるけど、中の餡はかなり甘め。
昔は甘いものを今ほど食べられなかったから、たまに食べるときは、うんと甘くしていたのかな。
梅が入っているということではなさそう。
それと白玉粉が入っているから、ねっとりとしている。
美味しいです。
