もともとは同ホテル内の「the CAFE TERRACE」で提供されていたアフタヌーンティ。
コロナ禍以降は、こちらの「イルバンカーレ」での提供になっているようです。
水戸駅から直結のホテル、便利な立地です。
ホテル入口をはいってすぐ脇にあるお店です。
週末訪問だったので、土日祝限定のランチビュッフェも同時間帯に行われていたようです。
同じ店舗内を仕切って利用している様子。
週末は混み合うとのことでしたので、予約をしてうかがいましたが
けっこう余裕がある感じでした。
こちらのアフタヌーンティーの魅力は
スコーン食べ放題。
飲み物もお替り自由です。
最初に2段式のお皿に盛られたスイーツが登場。
見た目も華やかで気分があがります♪
スコーンは焼き立てをもってきてくださいます。
そして嬉しかったのが、ホットの紅茶。
とても素敵なガラスのポットで、固形燃料で温めながらいただくスタイル。
これは嬉しい！
普段はコーヒー派ですが
英国式アフタヌーンティーということもあり、
またこのガラスのポットで提供されるのがうれしくて
今回は紅茶ばかりいただきました。
小さなセイボリー。
可愛いスイーツ。
甘い物と甘くない物とのバランスもちょうどよくて、
素敵なアフタヌーンティーとなりました。
