地元に戻り、久しぶりに蕎麦が食べたくなって、手打ち一筋の蕎麦 白河さんへ訪問。
昼過ぎだったのでまんいんてはなかったが、相変わらず常連さんや若いご夫婦が来店していた。
早速卵とじ蕎麦とモツ煮セットを注文。
卵とじ蕎麦はふわふわの卵と地元の青ネギで閉じてあり、少し甘い汁に浮かんでいる。
蕎麦は不揃いだが、しっかり打ち込んだ常陸秋蕎麦であり、香りがたまらなく食欲をそそる。
喉越しも最高で、さすが名店の名に恥じない。
モツ煮セットは三日間煮込んだモツ煮が口の中で溶けていくかの様な柔らかさで、臭みは全くない。
コラーゲンが体に染みていく感じだ。
言わなくてもついてくる常陸秋蕎麦はつけタレをつけないで食べれるほどスルスルと喉を通り抜けていく。
卵とじ蕎麦は650円、モツ煮セットは1100円と値段が変わらないところも職人の意地を感じた。
とはいえ、少し量が減った。
致し方ないだろう。
