水戸のサントル千波交差点近くに昔からひっそり佇み、地元客から愛され続けている定食屋さんがある。
以前良く通ったが、数年ぶりに訪問。
店の佇まいは全く変わらないが、刺身の味は全く変わらず、その日に入った美味い魚を食べさせてくれる。
だから常連さんや地元の馴染客でなかなか入れない。
開店直後を狙い、早速入店したが、既にほぼ満席。
駐車場も満車状態であった。
名物の刺身定食は一品なら800円、二品なら1000円で、ご飯、具沢山の味噌汁、野菜の天ぷら、おしんこ、メインの刺身がついてくる。
今回はおすすめのカツオとハマチ、マグロを注文。
刺身の大きさや厚みは昔のまま、新鮮そのもの。
冷凍物は使わないので、魚の味を堪能できる。
おすすめのカツオはぷりぷり、カツオの食感が歯に伝わり、とろける風味が口の中で爆発する。
マグロも赤身とはいえ、冷凍物では無いので、中トロのような甘い脂感が、舌を唸らせる。
野菜が沢山入った味噌汁を飲めば、幸せが溢れだす。
このほかに天ぷらまでついているパフォーマンスは店主の努力の賜物としか言いようがない。
有名ではないが、愛される名店である。
