水戸駅近くの大通りに面してありました。日曜日ということで、意外と閉まっているお店が多かったという事情のもと、あまり期待せずに入ることになりました。
２段入りの鰻重を注文しました。
蒸しにかなりの時間をかけていました。深蒸しのウナギは、あまり好みではないので、心配していましたら、案の定、供されたものは身が崩れるほどに深蒸しされ、脂がほとんど落ちて、皮の香ばしさもなく、私好みのものではありませんでした。タレも塩けの強い、辛めのもので、これも私好みではありませんでした。深蒸しして身が柔らかくなっている分、タレが身にしみこみやすいのか、そもそも身の薄いウナギだったせいなのか、ウナギの味がほとんどしなかったのも、満足できなかった点です。
