水戸界隈に数店舗展開するむじゃきの本店。店の隣には駐車場があり、ありがたい。行列が数人。チケットを買ってから待つ際に呼び出しベルを渡されるので車の中で待つことも可能。茨城県ではよくあるフォーマットのようだがこれは助かる。
メニューは幾つかあるのだが本店限定の鯛煮干しラーメンを注文。すぐに運ばれてきた。ラーメンとトッピングが別々になっている。ラーメンは塩ラーメンの形で美しい。シンプルイズザベスト。シンプルに煮干しの旨みがすごい。そしてトッピングも各々レベルが高い。雑多な田舎のラーメン屋の出立だが実力は本物だ。ちゃんと旨み成分の濃さを計算して作られたラーメンだと思う。
