昨日の記事で茨城へ行った（国立ひたち海浜公園、ロッキンジャパンフェスティバル）ということを書きましたが、その帰りに寄ったのが水戸駅構内のNEWDAYSさん。
ひたち海浜公園の最寄りのJR駅の勝田から東京まで直通の列車を待っては乗らず、水戸止まりの電車でいったん水戸駅まで参りました。
ここで駅弁を買って帰ろうという作戦です。
いろいろあるなかで決めたのは、この「水戸黄門弁当」（¥1,300円）です（写真１）。
いかにも水戸という感じがしたのと、気分的にちょっとリッチにいきたかったのとで。
帰ってからは暑さで食欲がなく、そのまま冷蔵庫にしまって朝食にすることにしました。本当はその日が賞味期限なのですが、ひと晩くらいはもつだろうと思って...
朝、起きてから、包みを開けるまでがまた楽しみでした。
冷蔵庫から出して、しばらく置いて室温になじませ、包装を解いて開けた図がこちら（写真２）。
見てるだけで気持ち的に朝からリッチな気分に...
お味のほうもよろしく、朝にふさわしいボリューム感でもありました。
最後に食した甘酸っぱい梅のデザートも良かったな。
値段的にはちょっとお高めですが、旅の記念，おみやげ，自分へのご褒美などと考えると、必ずしも高くはないと思いました。
