水戸駅北口の宮下銀座にあるやや敷居の高い串屋 晴に会社の同僚と初潜入。
今回はカウンターを選択。まずはビールで乾杯
●アスパラ豚巻き 小ぶりのアスパラガスに美名豚を薄く巻いて焼いた一品。まあ外さないでしょう。
●串焼5種盛 味つけはおまかせにしました。これでただものでない実力に気づきました。ねぎま、ぼんじり、軟骨、もも、ハツとメジャーな布陣だけどそれぞれ焼き加減、下処理も抜群。
●ものすっごいさば これも骨をきれいに捌いており脂の乗った鯖は絶品。今回は普通に塩焼き。
●つくば鶏すき焼き(小) 店の看板メニューだけに文句ないクオリティー。鶏すき焼きは記憶にないくらい久々です。
●親子丼 鶏すき焼きからのと言っても具を全て食べ尽くしてしまっても、追い鶏肉で店員さんが作ってくれます。すき焼きの卵をさらにかけてもまた旨し。
日本酒が人生最高レストランのパネルのようなもので特徴を紹介してくれて嬉しい。今夜いただいたのは田酒からの東洋美人。
予備知識なく訪問して大正解でした。かなりのハイスペック。また再訪間違いない優良店でした。
