With the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak now classified as Category 5, it seems as though nightlife establishments have been weeded out, and at popular Mito restaurants, you often see signs saying "We are fully booked for today" when you go there around 6pm. Haru is apparently a popular restaurant, so I made a reservation over the phone the day before, even though the deadline for online reservations had passed. It was my first time there, so I tried everything - sashimi, yakitori, Fried food, and chicken Sukiyaki. As the rating suggests, I was very satisfied. I was seated at the counter(?), so I was very happy that the proprietress kindly attended to me as I began to eat my chicken Sukiyaki. ☆ Of particular note is the vegetable Tempura, which included the first bamboo shoots of the year, and everything else was absolutely delicious with its excellent batter and frying method◎
