那珂湊の老舗大宝
煮干のきいたシンプルな醤油ラーメンと白味噌ラーメンが看板メニュー
醤油ラーメンは煮干しの頭とハラワタを取り除き、エグミを抑え、旨味だけを抽出した極々丁寧な味わい
最近流行りのエグミをインパクトといって食べさせる荒々しい煮干とは一線を画す美味しさ
目立ちはしないがじんわりと染みるラーメンはなんとも言えない温かみのある味
そして、もう一杯は白味噌ラーメン
赤味噌を牛乳と豚骨清湯で割った乳白色のスープ
白味噌ラーメンといえば同じくひたちなか市の暖宝が有名だが、大宝のご店主に聞いてみれば大宝は暖宝の親戚で、レシピを教えてもらった暖簾わけなのだそうだ
だからどちらにも「宝」が付くわけだ
どちらも地味深く優しい味わい
懐かしさすら感じる一杯に癒された
