大洗ドライブ、最後の〆はここ「バンセンストア」にお邪魔します。
今なにかと話題のエスニック料理ですが、中でも今注目したいのが”タイ料理”！
ここ大洗で食べられるタイ料理には、本場の味に負けない美味しさがあるんです。
茨城県の大洗町（住所は水戸市平戸）に、ひっそりと店を構えるバンセンストア。
何の予備知識もなく入店するにはあまりにも勇気がいる、怪しげなたたずまいのタイ料理店です。
もちろんグリーンカレー好きな自分は迷わずグリーンカレーを注文します‼︎
グリーンカレーは、日本でタイカレーと呼ばれるタイ料理になります。
正確にはカレー料理ではなく、タイ料理のケーンと呼ばれる多様な汁物の中で、香辛料を利かせた料理を外国人向けに便宜上カレーとして呼称しているようです。
タイ語でキアオは〈緑〉、ワーンは〈甘い〉で、全体で文字通りには〈甘い緑の汁物〉を意味しているようです。
こちらのグリーンカレーは、チキンと筍がたっぷり入っていて、食べ応えも大満足なんです！
やはり本場の料理人の方が料理されているので、今までにない香辛料の香りもします。
それにしても本当に美味しいなぁ。
日本一のグリーンカレーじゃないかな！
