茨城トヨペットが顧客に配布している宣伝誌で「さんさん」というものがある。トヨペットで扱っている車に乗って茨城県内を回って、花や季節の景色の中に車を置いて写真を取って宣伝する形式をとっている。その記事の中に笠間を特集したものがあって、車で笠間を回りながら、ちょっとしたグルメも紹介している。その中に、ブラッスリーテロワールさんのランチで、ハーフポーションのコースが紹介されていた。ブラッスリーテロワールさんは355号線、JA常陸「つちのたより」から北側の砂利道を入ったところにある。これで良いのかしらと思ったころにレストランの駐車場が現れる。まさに隠れ家レストランである。取り敢えずコロナ禍なので緊急事態宣言時などを避けて4月末訪問した。家族と一緒に4人で行く。一人運転手は飲めないが3人飲む人がいるのでサンセールのワインをお願いする。ワインの価格は5,000円程度と穏当なところに設定されている。我々もさんさんの記事と同じ、ハーフポーションのコースをお願いした。パンは3種有って好みのものをオーダーできる。コースはメニュー通りであるが、前菜、スープ、鯛のポワレ、牛頬肉のシチュウ、デザート、コーヒーまたは紅茶。料理を文字で表現するのは中々難しいが、少なくとも料理一つ一つがキチンと出来ているという印象である。これは料理人の腕が良い証明である。前菜のキッシュや鯛の皮のパリッとした感じ、4時間煮込んだという牛頬肉シチュウのとろけるような仕上がりやシチュウソースの仕上がりの良さ。自家製デザートやパンの美味しさ。何をとっても「うまい！」これからも通い続けたいお店である。
