正直な感想：
「わざわざ東京方面から行くレベルではない。」
特に、ミシュランレベルのフレンチを食べ歩いている人が行く理由はないと思いました。
今回いただいたのは、５０００円のディナーコース。
アミューズ、前菜、スープ、魚料理、お口直し、肉料理、デザート、食後の飲み物という構成。
まず気になったのは、食前の飲み物。
グラスワインをいただこうかと思ったけど、赤白１種類ずつしかなく、しかも銘柄が同じ。
こだわって選んだという感じはしない。
しかも、ブラッドオレンジジュースがあり、ミモザもスパークリングワインとブラッドオレンジジュースの組み合わせ。
ここはイタリアンなのかと思い、「ここはフレンチですか？ イタリアンですか？」と聞いてみたところ、フレンチとのこと。
「なぜブラッドオレンジジュースなんですか？」と聞いたところ、「その方が料理に合う」とのこと。
しかし、別にブラッドオレンジジュースの方が合うという印象はなかったし、こだわりを持つならば、フレッシュのものを使うとかした方が良い。ミモザももちろん、シャンパーニュを使った方が良い。
しかも、料理のパンも、バゲットとフォカッチャ。
フォカッチャ好きだけど、フレンチなのにフォカッチャ？と思ってしまう。
一番気になったのは、料理の説明。
牡蠣のスープの「サフラン風味」を、「サクラ風味」と説明されました。
食べてみたところ、桜の風味は全くせず、明らかにサフラン。
もしかしたら、サフランのことをサクラとも言うの？と思い、「サクラじゃなくてサフランじゃないですか？」と聞いたところ、奥で聞いてきて、「サフランでした」とのこと。
メニューの意味を理解した上で覚えていたら、こういう覚え違いはしないはず。
味も、別に悪くはないけれど、もう一度食べたいというものはありませんでした。
あと、自家製マドレーヌが焦げているのが気になりました。
このままだと「中途半端なフレンチ」感が否めません。
もっとフレンチにこだわった方が良いと思いました。
