I was watching a Korean drama, specifically one about Korean Cuisine, and it made me want to eat Korean Cuisine, so I came to "Doraji Korean Home Cooking" in Tsukuba City. (^^) Doraji serves authentic Korean Cuisine with the best ingredients at reasonable prices, and they are particular about making sure that you are healthy with your meals, using ingredients used in traditional Chinese medicine, based on the idea that food is medicine. This is just like the drama I watched! \(^o^)/ There are six tatami tables inside the restaurant. The menu ranges from Yakiniku (Grilled meat) to hot pot dishes, course meals, a la carte dishes, and Noodles. From the attractive menu, I chose the makgeolli and samgyetang course. Makgeolli I drank it in the Korean drama, and when you think of Korea, you have to drink makgeolli. (^^) E-Dong Makgeolli is a traditional Korean cloudy sake. It is cloudy in color like rice water, and has a low alcohol content of 6 to 7 degrees. It really goes well with spicy food! . In addition, it contains various nutrients such as yeast, vitamin B complex, protein, inorganic substances, and organic acids with a sweet and sour taste, which is necessary for the body, making it even more delicious. ✨ Samgyetang course A course meal with free drinks, kimchi, namul, Korean-style vermicelli, chijimi, samgyetang, stone-grilled bibimbap, and soup. The free drink is oolong tea. Both the kimchi and namul are original and delicious. I want to eat more. Korean-style glass noodles It has a refreshing taste. It tastes like a Korean-style glass noodles salad and is delicious. Green onion chijimi Dip it in the sauce provided. It is lighter and easier to eat than Japanese Okonomiyaki. Samgyetang Popular samgyetang with excellent skin-beautifying effects. The staff explained, "The bones are also soft, so you can eat them. (^^)" By the way, samgyetang (samgyetang) is a Medicinal Food dish in which a whole young chicken is stuffed with Chinese herbs such as ginseng and jujube and stewed. The name is said to come from the ingredients used, and is derived from the "sam" (ginseng), "tori" (chicken), and "tang" (soup). In Korea, it is customary to eat samgyetang on the day called "Bonnar", which is the day of the Ox in the Doyo period in Japan. Eat this nutritious food during the hot period from July to August to get through the hot summer! Such a precious samgyetang. I took a bite and it was a chicken umami bomb! ! Stone-grilled bibimbap It comes with soup, and I'm glad that there are lots of burnt parts that I love. Mix it with a "sizzling" sound.
