筑波山に行った帰りに美味しいよーって勧められて初訪店
筑波山麓にある創業100年以上の老舗和菓子屋さんです！
名物はカリントウ饅頭！
黒糖を使った細長い形状の、カリントウをイメージした揚げ饅頭です。表面のサクッとした食感は絶品！
中は甘さ控えめの自家製こし餡が入っています。
バラ売りもしてるから、1人で食べるには5個は多いかなぁーと思ったんだけど、油で揚げているのに全然しつこくなくてペロリと食べちゃいました
次の日食べる時はオーブントースターで焼けば食感が復活するから甘党の人は大量に買うことをお勧めします笑
