◆ Enjoy a relaxing lunchtime at Kisai Kagari, a relaxing restaurant located in the basement of Tsukuba Days Town (11:30-14:00). Recommended for girls' lunches where you can have delicious food and con |
It seems like it used to be more lively when I came here a long time ago, but it looks like a TSUTAYA is opening in the center? I saw outside that parking is free for the first hour so I thought I'd buy something and shopped at the drugstore until opening time. I then went in after opening. It seems that if you show your parking ticket here it's free for the next 4 hours so I guess I didn't need to go out of my way to shop. It was cheap so it was OK. I took my shoes off and sat at a table with a sunken kotatsu-like seat. It felt like a semi-private room and it was nice. The lady was wearing a kimono and there was New Year's-like background music. Fried chicken set meal and grilled mackerel for 780 yen including tax. Very reasonable. Overall it was well put together and delicious. The fried chicken was crispy and lightly seasoned with a refreshing grated daikon radish. The rice was just as tasty as usual. Was the miso soup a little watery? The tofu and nameko mushrooms seemed to suit my friend's taste. It also came with chawanmushi, and although it was missing ginkgo nuts, it had almost everything else. The salad was refreshing and there were pickles too, so it was a very satisfying lunch. There was also dessert. Thank you for the meal (✿ ♡‿♡)
