この日は日帰りでつくばへ。
街の雰囲気からして、つくばでインド料理を食べられるとは期待していなかったのですが、駅を上がったクレオスクエアの3階にこちらのお店を発見しました。
店内は品のよい雰囲気で、ホールの女性の落ち着いた応対も好印象です（インド料理店はサービスは荒っぽいことが多いですから）。
ランチメニューにはなんとビリヤニ（チキン）があり、セットにはミニカレー（チキンカレー）とサラダが付きます。ドリンクは+100円のオプションですが、ドリンクを付けて1,128円（税込）。
スパイス控えめでややチキンライスっぽいテイストのビリヤニではありますが、つくばでバスマティライスを食べられるとは思っていなかったので、それだけでも結構いい気分になります。
東京の「～ビリヤニ」系列のお店みたいに、ビックリするほど量が多かったりはしませんが、一人メシの際にはむしろ好ましいことで、それでもそれなりに食べ応えのある量が盛られています。
話は全然変わり鉄っぽくなりますが、久しぶりのつくばエクスプレス、相変わらず迫力満点の乗車感でした。
ロングレールを高速でぶっ飛ばし、しかも狭軌でこのスピードだから、車両がムリしてる感がなんとも言えません。
