I used to do a lot of stupid things back then (I don't have a single episode I can write about here lol), so I decided to go out for a drink with my best friend, with whom I used to do stupid things together, for the first time in a long time. Every year in our New Year's cards we would say to each other, "This year is the year we'll go out for a drink!" but about 20 years had passed without it ever happening. Our houses were quite far apart, and since we both started families it had become even harder to see each other. But this time, somehow we managed to make plans and we managed to go for a drink (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝︎ The venue was in Tsukuba. It took about 30 minutes from me, but an hour from Taisho (my best friend). We made a reservation and met up at 6 o'clock. Even though it had been a long time since we last saw each other, we started drinking while saying to each other, "It wouldn't feel strange if we had drank together last week!" First of all, we had raw Dai ♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ As expected, Dai is huge! lol We ordered skirt steak, tongue and loin. It was a semi-private room so we didn't have to worry about the people around us as we slowly grilled and ate the food while talking nonsense. We ran out of draft beer, so next we ordered a mega highball♫ and the chef had a draft lemon sour. We added stewed offal and green onion kimchi. As I'm writing this, I just remember that we had said we were going to order chijimi but forgot to order it (T.T) The green onion kimchi was incredibly delicious! And the winner of the day was the stewed offal. It was incredibly tasty! They started to clear away the side dishes, so the two older guys headed off to the next bar.
