休日夜に初訪問です。
常磐自動車道の桜土浦I.C.からすぐです。
この界隈で「肉」が食べられる店を検索しながら、評価が高いので訪問することにしました。ロードサイドなので外観はファミレスっぽい雰囲気。店内に入ると混雑していないけど、名前を書くように指示されて椅子でしばらく待たされました。初訪問なのでルールがわからず、感染症対策の一環なのかもしれませんが、「準備をしているのでｘｘ分お待ちください」くらいの説明があっても良いと思います。10分弱待った頃に声がかかって着席しましたが、やはりいくつかの席は空いていました。
メニューは「ステーキ」を中心にかなりのバリエーションで、「ステーキ」だけでも牛の種類と部位でたくさんあって予算を決めておかないとメニューが決められません。1,000円くらいから、上は「常陸牛」や「シャトーブリアン」まであり、150gくらいから50g単位で価格が付いています。選択できないので3,000円程度の予算だと伝えてお勧めを聞いたら「霞浦牛（かほぎゅう）」とのことでした。初めて聞いた牛の名前ですが、文字通り霞ヶ浦界隈で育った牛だと思います。
『霞浦牛サーロイン150g』3,278円と『特別限定超おすすめ国産牛（青森産）サーロイン150g』2,178円をオーダーして食べ比べることにしました。
また『サラダ』と『ライス』を別にオーダーしています。特筆すべきは「サラダ」です。200円で「サラダバー」スタイルになっていて1回限りの盛り付けですが、野菜類が新鮮で種類が豊富なので素晴らしいコストパフォーマンスです。
「ステーキ」の食べ比べはどちらも美味しかったですが、結果的に価格の通り『霞浦牛』の方が綺麗な脂が入っていて美味しかったです。
こちらで食事をする際には絶対200円の「サラダ（単品）」をオーダーすべきです。
