子供のころ、まだスタバもタリーズもサンマルクカフェもなかったころ、
喫茶店とは違う、気軽にコーヒーをいただきながら休憩できるお店、
ということで
ドトールはかなり頻繁に利用していました。
そのころよくいただいていたのが「ジャーマンドッグ」
シンプルですが、グルグル回る専用のグリルで焼かれたソーセージとパンの組み合わせが絶妙で
モーニングにも、おやつにもちょくちょく利用していました。
ただ、当時はコーヒーはあまり美味しい、という印象はなくて、
アイスティーと一緒に注文することが多かった気がします。
今回、数十年ぶりのジャーマンドックとカフェオレを注文。
ジャーマンドックは子供の頃と全く変わらない安定の味！
ジューシーなソーセージと、柔らかめのフランスパンとの相性もばっちり。
そしてカフェオレ。
これは、当時の印象とは全く変わって、美味しかったです！
クリーミーで自然なミルクの甘みもあって、好みの味でした。
最近はサンマルクカフェを利用することが多かったですが
今後ドトールの利用も増えそうです♪
