本日(7月9日)。
僕は朝から土浦市郊外にお邪魔していました。
朝は局地的に大雨があり、いつもより仕事が長引きそうな要因が他にもあり。
少し憂鬱になる。
それに拍車をかけるのが、今日の昼飯事情。
『国道沿いのチェーン店ばかりだなぁ』
と思っていると、お客さんが。
『近くに豚カツ屋があるので、良かったらご一緒しませんか？』
普段なら適当に理由を付けて断るのですが、今日は一人で気張る余裕もなく、渡りに船よろしく助手席に滑り込んだ。
かつ吉。
ファサードからはイマイチ何屋か想像し難い。
12:05。
店に入ると4割程の客入り。
座敷に通され、茨城県のブランド豚、美明豚のロースカツ定食をオーダー。
他の人達も皆同じものを発注。
着膳を待つ間(12分)。
お客が増える気配はなかった。
ロースカツだが、ラード主体の油で揚げているような感じ。
脂身は甘く、肉質は柔らかい。
だが。
ここの半額近い値段でチェーン店(和○とか)の出す豚カツ定食との明確な差が、僕には見出だせなかった。
良くも悪くも優等生。
そんな一飯でした。
