沼があるところ、うなぎの名店あり。
外に1つ、中にも1つ池がある。そこにはうなぎとは関係なしに、鯉などが悠然と泳いでいて観賞用として素晴らしい役割を担っている。
これだけ贅沢な内観は、なかなか他では見られない。 料理にも自然と期待が膨らむ。
肝焼き 600円
細かな肝が、串いっぱいに突き刺さっているどころか少し余って出てきた。苦味はほぼないと言えるほど少なく、肝が苦手な人でも問題ないだろう。
焦げは目立つが食べて気になることはない。
うな重 上(肝吸いつき)4300円
うーん。多分、気を利かしてのことだと思うが、出てきた時には、すでにお重の蓋がない状態で来た。これは勿体ない。私は蓋はしておいて欲しい派。うな重には蓋を開けた時に漂う香りを楽しむ一連の流れ作業がある。うなぎの身がはみ出ていたり、やむを得ない場合を除いては、やはり蓋はしてあるべきものだと思うんだ。
うなぎの質は申し分なく、ふわりとした関東風で甘すぎない上品なタレが良く合う。
ご飯は多め。
肝吸いにはうずらの卵が1つ入っている。面白いね。
