蕎麦屋なのに
蕎麦屋なのにカレーを食べました。
以前にテレビでグリコのお菓子を中国に売り込む番組を見たことがあります。
本来、食事は栄養補給のものですが、経済発展や生活に余裕ができてくると食事が娯楽の一つになると。
まさに日本における食事とは「娯楽」ですよね。
栄養補給どころか、いかに栄養分を摂取せずに食事のみができるか、多くの人が苦心しているところです。
というわけで本日も蕎麦をチョイスしました。
この店は隣接する喫茶店と同じ会社が経営しているみたいで、昔ながらの蕎麦屋オンリーというより、蕎麦屋的な部分も併せ持った飲食店という感じです。
入口付近には日本酒が並べられ、軽く一杯的な飲酒も充実しています。
ただ従来の蕎麦屋にありがちな「そば抜き」で「そば前」の酒とツマミを楽しみ「蕎麦で〆る」。
とは異なり食事の蕎麦と並行して飲酒メニューもあるという感じです。
その中からオーソドックスに「天ざる蕎麦」をオーダーしようと思ったのですが、店の一押しとしている「玄米と野菜のヘルシーカレー」のフォトがあまりにも美味そうだったので、これに！
まして玄米の薄い外皮が栄養の吸収を鈍らせ、理想ですからね。
そしてこの玄米の若干硬い食感が口に残ります。食感も味のうち。一味良い風味を醸し出していました。
カレーに天ぷらの盛り合わせというのは、食い合わせ的にはどうなのかな？？
とは思ったのですが、食いたいものを食いたいように食べるのが一番なのでお願いました。
食後の「だったんそばのアイス」は蕎麦の実がまぶしてありました。
メニューの中に、「にしん蕎麦」ならぬ『にしんトロロ丼』なるものが気になりました。
次回も蕎麦屋なのに丼物をオーダーしそうな予感が。

こちら駅舎にあるただの蕎麦屋ではなく、夜は純粋に居酒屋使いもできる店でもあります。
ただランチ時にはというと、アラカルトの方は限られてしまいます。
そんな時に利用するのは「季節限定メニュー」で夜の居酒屋的なものを蕎麦に盛り込んでます(^^)！
まずは「あんこうとあん肝蕎麦」。
あんこうの肝が、カツオの麺つゆにサッパリ目に溶かしてあります。あん肝の濃厚さはありませんが、その分に生臭さは感じず、蕎麦で食べるならこの具合の塩梅がいいと思います。
天婦羅にはプリプリの鮟鱇の白身天が入ってます。
そして「春野菜とサヨリの天ぷら蕎麦」
まるでアジや鰯のような大き目のプリプリのサヨリ天。
サヨリ(漢字名 細魚)は、刺身だと九州のコウナゴ(小女子)刺のように、小さく薄めにスライスしてチョビチョビと摘まむ感じですが、この大きさだと春のようなふくよかな食感も織り込んでの美味しさも味わえます。
