ふと立ち寄った小貝浜。
海岸縁に佇む小さなカフェ。
微かに、いやほとんど気がつかない程度に静かなジャズが流れ、白い壁と挿し込む陽が心地良い。
一杯ずつ豆を引いてくれるコーヒーとオレオ入りチーズケーキを注文。
何も入れないコーヒーは口の中でほんのりチョコに似ている甘さと渋さが初恋を思い出させる。
ケーキは甘さと言うよりビターなチーズケーキであり、添えられたフルーツが、それを補ってくれる。
これだけでも日立という土地柄から考えると、驚くスペックだが、どうしても触れなければならない。
ここでは無駄な音楽や会話は要らない。
目の前に広がる浜辺から聞こえる波の調べと鳥達の会話が全てを消し去ってくれる。
まさに素敵な相席なのだ。
夏ではなく、今だからこそ心に栄養を与えてくれる、
そんな素敵なお店でした。
