金沢の繁華街のやや外れにある老舗のバーです。
ただこちらが違うのはまずは規模でしょう。
バーなのに広い。普通、バーってカウンターだけだったり、小規模です。
こちらは、長い歴史の中で隣の建物を繋いだりして、増床をされているため、グループの利用や、2階の貸し切り利用もできます。
そして、食事もしっかり楽しめます。
ピザや、石窯で仕上げる料理が美味しいです。
ダイニングバーというと、今っぽくカジュアルに感じてしまうので、そう呼ぶには違うでしょうね。
かといって、洋酒を楽しむ艶っぽさ、大人の社交場としての凛とした空気感のあるカウンターももちろん。
天井には、新旧いろんな人々の名刺が。
金沢の人々を昔から迎え入れて来られた足跡がここでも感じられます。
とにかく金沢の街をずっと見てきたといっても良いこのお店は、クラシックボトルが地でならんでいる感じで、洋酒の博物館のよう。
映画やドラマのロケにも使われたとか。。
山口瞳さんのコースターを見るだけでも、その洋酒文化の歴史や懐の深さを感じます。
まずはボトルごとキンキンに冷やしたビーフィーターのジントニックで喉を潤し、
興味のままにウイスキーになだれ込む。
