金沢到着。早速ランチタイムだが、予約もしていなかったので、どこにしようか思案。
夏なので金沢おでんでもないし、夜お寿司予定なのでお寿司でもない。
まっ、あまり間違いのないところで日航ホテルの和食「弁慶」にしようと訪問。
カウンターに通される。なんだか、ランチでも予約で埋まっているようで、その後ほぼ満卓となる。
お弁当風に一の膳、二の膳になっている「夏の涼風御膳（税込2500円）」かコース仕立てで鍋がメインの「夏のリッチランチ（税込3000円）」の2つが選択肢。
後者の「夏のリッチランチ」にしてみた。
【前菜】は夏に相応しい小さな料理がバリエーション豊かに並べられている。
「太胡瓜と蛸の梅ジュレ掛け」…サッパリ美味しい
「枝豆松風」…魚のすり身と枝豆。脇役かな。
「あおさ玉子」…あおさでひと工夫された玉子焼き。印象には残る。
「ミニオクラ」…口直し的アクセント
「若鶏青唐辛子味噌」…青唐辛子の辛さはない
「稚鮎有馬煮」…夏ならではの一品
「プチトマト」…これも口直し的役割。
【お造り】
「カジキマグロ、カンパチをとろろで山掛けにしたもの」…何気なく山かけが美味しさを増幅させている。
【海鮮と能登豚の塩鍋】…
具材は能登豚、豆腐、しめじ、パプリカ、浅利、エビ、ネギ、白菜、水菜、白身魚など。
出汁はキッチリ美味しい。メイン料理として充分な味と量。
【揚げ物】
「とうもろこしのかき揚げ」…
かき揚げには人参、玉ねぎも入っている。
その他、茄子、さつまいも、オクラの天ぷらが横に添えられている。
カラッと揚げられておらず、油が回ってペチャっとした感じで、これは異議アリだなぁ〜。頑張って欲しい一品。
【〆のご飯】は「新生姜ご飯」…新生姜、油揚げ、胡麻が入って、少し楽しいご飯。ご飯はまずまずの味。
「味噌汁」はなめこ、豆腐、わかめ、小ネギ…これはちゃんと美味しい。
【甘味】…白桃ババロア…甘さ控えめで最後の〆としてはスッキリ。なんか胃袋も気持ちも落ち着く。
これはスゴイ！と言う料理ではないにしても安定感はあり、税込3000円にしては充実したコース。
