You can enjoy food and drinks while looking out over the night view of Katamachi!!
As the face of Katamachi, we have been patronized by many customers for over 30 years. We can accommodate a variety of occasions, such as dates, after-parties, and solo dining. We have a variety of se |
We went to the restaurant on Wednesday, the middle of the week, for a year-end party at work. We booked the "I Love Meat Course, including Kuroge Wagyu beef rump Steak, 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink, 7 dishes total, 5,000 yen." According to the internet, the dishes in this course are: ・Thick-sliced Kuroge Wagyu beef rump Steak ・Handmade smoked duck roast ・ Seafood carpaccio ・Pate de campagne ・Today's pasta ・Pizza ・Dessert The all-you-can-drink course includes medium-sized bottles of beer, sake, shochu, whiskey, house wine, cocktails, and soft drinks, and the cocktails in particular seem to have a large selection of drinks based on various alcoholic beverages. We made our reservation early, so there were no other customers when we arrived. We were shown to a seat with a view of Katamachi Scramble, but it was originally a terrace seat, and the only heating was a stove, so it was cold. Since we were just going to drink and make noise, it was better to have a warm place inside. It was getting late, but the first drink took a while to come, so we had to wait a few minutes after the greetings for the toast. What's more, the food was slow to come out, and since I can't drink without food, I had to wait a few minutes after toasting and taking a sip. The first dish that came out was "Homemade smoked duck roast", followed immediately by "Pate de campagne" and "Spanish mackerel carpaccio". While eating those, I toasted with "draft beer" (the beer was in a medium bottle on the internet, but the staff also offered to serve me a pitcher of draft beer, which was good). After that, I drank "sparkling wine" and "white wine", which are hard to find in an all-you-can-drink restaurant. Just as the first dish was about to be finished, "thick-sliced black wagyu rump Steak" was served. I ordered "red wine" to go with it. When the "Steak" was about half gone, "Margherita" and "meat pasta" were served, and shortly before last order, "pudding" was served. I've become less tolerant to alcohol than I used to be, and I was thinking about the next day, so after the red wine I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail, but I had no idea what the names of the non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu were, so I ordered Shirley Temple, Flamingo, Saratoga Cooler, and Florida in that order. The food tasted normal overall, but Steak felt a little hard. However, there were three types of sauce: salt, garlic chips, and horseradish, and they were all good, but it was especially delicious with the garlic chips on top. The Margherita was small in size, but had a lot of cheese on top, so it was okay. The meat pasta was a dry sauce, and it was not a meat sauce but rather a meat pasta, and the noodles were quite thin, so it didn't feel like pasta. The pudding was not too sweet, but the caramel was a little sweet, and overall it was quite delicious. As for the drinks, all the wines were neither good nor bad. I tried the non-alcoholic cocktails and couldn't really tell the taste, but the "Shirley Temple" was sweet, the "Flamingo" was peach-based, the "Saratoga Cooler" was cider-based, and the "Florida" was grapefruit juice first, followed by orange juice. (I don't know if it was because of the cocktail or the way it was mixed.) It's common for there to be a wide variety of cocktails, but this restaurant has a wide variety of whiskeys, so people who like whiskeys can order a variety. Overall, the service for drink orders was good, although it was a little slow to come at first. However, the course consisted of meat and carbohydrates, so I would have liked some vegetables.
